With a special combination of psyllium husks, sugar beet fibre, glucommanan, L-Glutamine, FOS, viable bacteria, herbs and stevia leaf extract, the variety of nutrients and high fibre content of this shake make it is ideal for long-term use, as well as part of a cleanse and detox programme or weight management programme.

Increase in faecal bulk:

Sugar beet fibre contributes to an increase in faecal bulk in two ways: the insoluble components of the fibre increase faecal bulk by absorbing water in the large intestine, while the soluble components are fermented by bacteria in the large intestine leading to an increase in bacterial mass.  Reduction of body weight / weight management support:

Glucomannan in the context of an energy restricted diet contributes to weight loss.

 This beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3g of glucomannan in three doses of 1g each, together with 1-2 glasses of water, before meals and in the context of an energy-restricted diet. 1 teaspoon (5g) of this powder contains 1g of glucomannan.

Blood cholesterol management:

Glucomannan contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels

This beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 4g of glucomannan per day
